BELLEVUE, WA – The well-received “SAVE2A.US” advertising campaign launched by the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms has been extended for a second week, warning the nation’s gun owners about the dangers of H.R. 127, the dangerous gun control measure introduced by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas).

“From the outset,” said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb, “our message struck a nerve and grassroots gun rights activists are responding. We’ve set off alarm bells across the country because H.R. 127 removes any doubt about the lengths to which gun prohibitionists are willing to go in their effort to destroy the Second Amendment.”

CCRKBA’s 60-second TV message will be broadcast 66 times next week, Gottlieb said, on the following networks: DirecTV, Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, Bloomberg, DishTV, the Weather Channel, HLN, OANN, the Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel and the Inspiration Channel. By the end of next week, CCRKBA’s message will have been aired a total of 119 times.

Gun owners are being asked to visit SAVE2A.US or text SAVE2A to 474747.

H.R. 127 represents the “ultimate wish list” of gun control zealots, Gottlieb said. The bill mandates gun owner licensing and registration, psychological examinations of gun owners, mandatory insurance, mandatory minimum prison sentences for non-compliance, and bans on whole classes of firearms and original capacity magazines.

“This bill really is a sinister attack on Second Amendment rights,” Gottlieb said. “Democrats are determined to reduce rights protected by the Second Amendment to the level of privileges so tightly regulated by government red tape that they no longer really exist. The Washington Post likes to tell people that ‘freedom dies in darkness,’ but H.R. 127 is being pushed in broad daylight by people claiming some sort of mandate to trash individual rights.

“We’re calling this the ‘SAVE2A.US’ campaign because that’s exactly what it is,” he added. “H.R. 127 is just the tip of an iceberg whose sole purpose is to sink the Second Amendment. Anti-gunners have waited for years to launch this attack. With Joe Biden in the White House, Beltway Democrats are determined to destroy the Constitution’s cornerstone Amendment, and we are determined to stop them.”
