Nikon Announces Two New High-Power Binocular Telescopes

Melville, NY – Nikon has unveiled the 25x120 and 20x120-IV BINOCULAR TELESCOPES, a series of highly crafted optics engineered to provide bright, clear, detailed viewing in virtually any light conditions. The new optics were developed to be the ideal high-power precision optic for a wide range of consumer and commercial applications, including scenic observation, astronomy, commercial fishing, ship- or land-based surveillance and other uses requiring extended observation sessions under rigorous conditions.

Nikon's 25x120 and 20x120-IV BINOCULAR TELESCOPES each utilize proprietary optical systems engineered with massive 120mm objective lenses created with lead- and arsenic-free glass and exclusive multi-coating technologies. Both models produce incredibly sharp images by effectively compensating for chromatic and spherical aberrations. The combination of high power and dynamic observation, together with Nikon’s legendary image flatness is realized through a wide field of view of 64.7° (apparent field of view) and 55.3° (apparent field of view) for the 25x120 and the 20x120-IV, respectively.

Robust and durable all-metal construction is impervious to rain, high humidity and the effects of thermal shock. Highly corrosion-proof and impact-resistant body maintains optimal performance over an extended life. Waterproof and fog-proof construction purged with nitrogen gas maintains a fog-free interior.
