Taurus Joins FPC Constitution Alliance

BAINBRIDGE, GA (January 12, 2022) – Today, Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) announced that Bainbridge, Georgia-based Taurus®, a holding company which owns some of the most robust firearms brands currently available in the U.S., has joined FPC’s Constitution Alliance family as a Benefactor Member in support of FPC’s legal action and advocacy programs to defend and advance the right to keep and bear arms.

Through its contributions, Taurus is supporting pro-rights legal action, advocacy, grassroots engagement, and educational initiatives across the nation, including FPC Law—the nation’s first and only full-scope public interest legal team focused exclusively on the right to keep and bear arms and adjacent rights.

“Responsible firearm owners have been engaged in a running battle with anti-gun and anti-Second Amendment forces in America for nearly a century. As gun owners and personal defense advocates, we’re accustomed to defending and fighting for our Constitutional rights on all fronts—from the city and state level to the highest judicial authority in the country. What we’re not used to is the incredible escalation of threats against our freedoms that is now taking place. More than ever, it is vital that everyone in the Second Amendment community and the firearms industry at large put their shoulders to the task of ensuring our individual and collective safety and freedoms stand now and for future generations of Americans. That is why all of us at Taurus are pleased to support the Firearms Policy Coalition in their important work of aggressively defending our 2nd Amendment right,” explained Bret Vorhees, president & CEO, Taurus Holdings, Inc.

“This generous support from Taurus will help ensure that our teams can continue to aggressively press forward in FPC’s class-leading programs fighting for human liberty and the right to keep and bear arms,” said FPC president, Brandon Combs. “We wish to thank Taurus for joining the growing coalition of FPC Constitution Alliance members who are committed to advancing the People’s rights, liberty, and property.”
