Chattanooga Shooting Supplies Teams with Youth Shooting Sports Alliance

Elkhorn, Neb. – Chattanooga Shooting Supplies has pledged a donation of $5,000 to the Youth Shooting Sports Alliance (YSSA) to help supply youth programs with essential equipment for summer leagues.

“We are thrilled to make a donation to such a dedicated group that cares about our future,” says Ron Staffieri, CEO and president of Chattanooga Shooting Supplies, Inc. “CSSI is proud to be a contributor supporting the future of our sport.”

YSSA is a non-profit, 501c3 organization that supports the industry and youth shooting sports across the country by providing quality equipment for youth shooting programs. Some items are on loan to the programs (i.e., firearms and archery equipment) while other equipment is donated, such as hearing and eye protection, targets and similar soft goods.

“The YSSA plans to purchase more range bags, shell bags and safety equipment as needed for the upcoming 2022-2023 season, and without the generous support from people like CSSI, it would be difficult,” says Cyndi Flannigan, executive director.

“It is absolutely critical for the future of shooting sports that new generations of children are introduced to shooting through safe youth programs,” Flannigan said. “And providing quality equipment to these programs is essential if they’re going to have a safe and positive experience while having fun.”

The Youth Shooting Sports Alliance was founded in 2007, an offshoot of the National 4-H Youth Shooting Sports program. To date, the YSSA has loaned and donated equipment to youth programs across the country, benefitting more than 120,000 youth.
