HARTFORD, CT – The leader in FFL technology, payment processing, and compliance services, Orchid LLC will host a webinar on Thursday, Dec. 8, detailing how to conduct a serial number audit. Led by Orchid VP of Sales and Implementation, Shaun Phelan, the webinar will review the auditing process, required firearm theft/loss procedures, and best practices to maximize accuracy, efficiency and compliance.
“Whether you’re a mom-and-pop shop, regional distributor, or national firearms manufacturer, every FFL must do regular audits of its serialized inventory,” said Phelan. “The larger the operation, the larger the audit, and greater potential risk for ATF violation and revocation. However, when a licensee has well-trained employees, an organized plan, and the right compliance software in place, anyone can do a proper inventory.”
During the webinar, Phelan will be joined by Heath Nantz of Recoil Gunworks to discuss his experience conducting large scale audits as a firearms distributor and ecommerce retailer.
