Team Beretta Excels at 2020 NSCA National Championship

(Accokeek, MD) Team Beretta shooters recently achieved 12 podium finishes in 5 different events during the 2020 NSCA National Championship in San Antonio, TX.

Team Beretta members in attendance at this competition included Zachary Kienbaum, Dominic Gross, Meagan Harrington, Anthony Matarese, Joseph Fanizzi, Desirae Edmunds, and Jared Greenwood.

Kienbaum, shooting with a standard Beretta DT11, achieved a runner-up podium honor in the main event with an exceptional score of 286 out of 300 targets. He also won a third-place podium finish in the K-Kup event with a score of 99/100 and an additional runner-up podium honor in the High All-Around (HAA) event with a score of 664/700.

Gross, a junior team member, attained his third consecutive junior runner-up podium honor in the main event with a score of 282 out of 300 targets. During his last National Championship as a competitor in the junior category, he also achieved a third-place podium honor in the junior HAA event with a score of 640 targets out of 700.

Harrington, another junior team member, obtained two third-place podium honors in the junior ladies’ main and ladies’ HAA events with scores of 262/300 and 620/700, respectively. She also won a ladies’ runner-up podium finish in the K Kup event with a superb score of 97 out of 100 targets.

Matarese, shooting with a Beretta DT11 L, attained a runner-up podium honor in the FITASC event with a score of 96/100 and a third-place finish in the HAA event with a score of 662/700.

Fanizzi, a junior team member who shoots with a Beretta A400 Xcel Sporting Black Edition, secured a junior champion honor in the 5 Stand event with a score of 95 targets out of 100. He also achieved the junior champion title for the NSCA FITASC Grand Slam Championship Tour for his exceptional scores in FITASC throughout the 2020 season.

Edmunds and Greenwood competed against some tough competitors and placed in the top ten for each event that they were entered.

Team Beretta shooters will continue their season at the upcoming 2020 World FITASC Sporting Championship in Jackson, MS, from November 9-15, 2020.
