As NSSF is monitoring the COVID-19 situation around the country and specifically in Washington, D.C., we decided to postpone the Congressional Fly-In. We will reschedule for a later date this year. We did not come to this decision easily as the Fly-In plays a vital role in the industry’s ability to impact priority legislation and regulation. However, with the announcement that a U.S. Senate staffer tested positive for COVID-19 (coronavirus), several members of Congress opted to self-quarantine, and the decision of the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate Sergeants-at-Arms to temporarily close the Capitol and Congressional office buildings to the public, our Fly-In would be ineffective. We do not want to risk anyone’s health. NSSF will inform all attendees of a new date as soon as we can, and we thank you for your understanding and patience.
