Krieghoff Podium Sweep at the 2022 NSCA U.S. Open

Over 1,400 Sporting Clays shooters competed in the 2022 NSCA U.S. Open, and three Krieghoff shooters grabbed the spotlight with a Main Event Lady podium sweep.

K-80 Shooter Madison Sharpe dominated the field of 130 Lady shooters and won the Main Event Lady Championship title by an impressive seven targets. Team Krieghoff’s Shelby Moon and Karen Shedd joined Sharpe on the podium as Runner Up and 3rd place respectively to complete the Krieghoff podium sweep.

Gebben Miles shot his way to a 3rd place finish in the Main Event Overall category, securing another top finish for Krieghoff.

Team Krieghoff shone in the FITASC Event with Shelby Moon winning the Lady FITASC title and Karen Shedd taking home Lady Runner Up honors. Podium finishes by Gregg Wolf, Overall 3rd, Will Fennell, Veteran Runner Up, and Gary Walstrom, Senior Super Vet Runner Up rounded out a strong event for the Team.

Reanna Frauens continued Team Krieghoff’s winning streak by taking the Lady 5-Stand title. Kevin DeMichiel placed 5-Stand Runner Up in the Overall category. Junior shooters Turner Parcell and Ross Wilson took home 5-Stand Runner up and 3rd place finishes in their category. Steve Edmondson won the Super Vet 5-Stand Title with Gary Walstrom placing Senior Super Vet in the event.

Michael Luongo, Jr. was a small gauge powerhouse as he took home both the 20 Gauge and 28 Gauge Champion titles. Madison Sharpe matched Luongo in the Lady category taking home top honors in both events.

Rollins Brown and Will Fennell kept the momentum going with top finishes in the 20 Gauge and 28 Gauge FITASC Events. Brown won the 20 Gauge FITASC Championship and placed Runner Up in the 28 Gauge FITASC Event. Fennell placed Runner Up in the 20 Gauge FITASC and Veteran Runner Up in the 28 Gauge FITASC.
