ATK Adds Sabot Slugs To Fusion Line of Deer Hunting Ammunition

Anoka, Minnesota The Fusion line of deer hunting ammunition is expanding beyond its original rifle offerings. The latest category to be added is the popular shotgun hunting. More people are using sabot slugs in rifled shotgun barrels to enhance shotgun performance and Fusion will now be available in 12 and 20-gauge offerings beginning summer of 2007.

With a 2006 handgun hunting addition and now muzzleloading and shotgun options, Fusions unique bullet construction is providing a high-quality bullet for all firearm deer huntersat a popular price.

The Fusion bullet process electro-chemically applies a copper jacket to the lead core one molecule at a time. The process takes hours to perfect per lot and yields a perfectly uniform jacket for the ultimate in accuracy and durability.

Brand Manager Rick Stoeckel has great things to say about the Fusion line: Fusion has been a great success for all the people weve talked to. You wont find a better bullet for deer hunting in this class. These new shotgun offerings are extending this outstanding technology to yet another group of hardcore hunters. Were excited to see the results come in from satisfied customers.

Fusion sabot shotgun slugs will be available in a 20-gauge, 3-inch 5/8-ounce load, along with 2-3/4-inch 3/4-ounce and 3-inch 3/4-ounce 12-gauge offerings.
