FARMINGDALE, NY Bruce Piatt, the returning Bianchi Cup Champion, finished second place overall and set two national records at the 2007 NRA Bianchi Cup National Action Pistol Championship, held in Columbia, MO. Excitement filled the air as spectators watched Piatt score a record setting 1918-154x with his Metallic Sight gun and finished the Overall Aggregate with an all time high of 3838-337x. Piatt, commented, Posting a second place finish at the Bianchi Cup is certainly something Im proud of but I must admit Im still a little disappointed I didnt pull off a back to back victory after last years win. After my performance with the Metallic Sight gun, it just goes to show you there really is a silver lining to every cloud. Dropping only one shot and posting an all time high score of 1918-154x metallic sight score is something Ill be proud of for a long time to come.
