Bushmaster announced today that the rifle to be used for Civilian Marksmanship ProgramÕs Camp Perry National Matches First Shot Ceremony will be #1 of 100 specially engraved rifles Bushmaster has produced for the 100th Anniversary of the Competition. The traditional "1st Shot" Ceremony will take place on July 9th, 2007. Bushmaster Factory Representative and Competition Program Coordinator, Jarrod McDevitt will be in attendance to present the Rifle. Featured at the event will be Guest Speaker John P. McLaurin III, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army - Human Resources.

The other 99 of these 100th Anniversary Camp Perry National Match DCM-XR Series Rifles featuring commemorative laser engraved markings will be offered at a special price of $960. Bushmaster Firearms Intl. LLC will be donating $100 from the proceeds of each rifle sold to support the Civilian Marksmanship Program's Junior High Power Support Program. As all are expected to be sold, Bushmaster's total contribution to the Junior High Power Support Program could be as much as $10,000.
