Time to display the Stars and Stripes this weekend to honor the founders and the minutemen who sacrificed so much to win our freedoms 233 years ago. And may I suggest you keep the flag flying every day to honor our service men and women who will not be home having a hot-dog and a beer with their families this Independence Day. I'm on my 6th flag since 9-12-01. They wear out, but replacements are not that expensive, and my neighbors get to see the red-white-and-blue flying everyday. It's my reminder that we're still at war and still have people to honor who are defending us in really nasty places around the world.
