In 1992, the Firearms Marketing Group (FMG) decided that the industry needed an award based on merit, with award decisions made by those in the industry, not by an editorial board and not influenced by advertising. The 930 SPX comes equipped with a factory-installed Picatinny rail for custom-optics mounting versatility.
