Apex Tactical Specialties, Inc. (ATS) announced their new Forward Set Sear & Trigger for the Smith & Wesson M&P pistol. Adding to their line of do-it-yourself drop in parts, the Forward Set Sear & Trigger produce a trigger pull with minimal pre-travel and over travel geared toward the competitive shooter.

"I see the M&P as having unlimited potential in the realm of USPSA, IDPA and all other action pistol shooting sports," said Randy Lee, president of Apex Tactical Specialties. "We designed the Forward Set Sear and it's Trigger compliment to prove that a striker fired, polymer pistol could have a trigger that closely approximates the feel of any single action semi-auto pistol made today. As a drop in kit, I think many will be surprised."

The Forward Set Sear & Trigger will be available mid-May from Brownells. The trigger will be manufactured from aircraft grade aluminum that has been hard coat anodized with an articulating trigger mounted safety. Future evolutions of the trigger will be made from a high-grade polymer to closely match the polymer of the M&P pistol frame.
