Jon Weiler, owner of Professional Marksmen Inc. and coordinator of the Whittington U, is pleased to announce the 2013 Survival Trial dates to be held at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, NM.

ST III: February 23-24, 2013 "Winterborn"

ST IV: May 18-19, 2013 "Daybreaker"

ST V: September 20-22, 2013 "Sundowner"

Each Survival Trial is theme specific to the event and competitors will encounter Shooting Scenarios, Physical Obstacles, Mental Challenges and other items that fall with the individual ST theme. All Survival Trial Evaluators will monitor and assess competitors as they negotiate all scenarios, obstacles and movement throughout the ST Arena as a whole, with all teams receiving an evaluation of their performance upon completion of the Survival Trial. This gives another depth to the core purpose of the Survival Trial and a "State of Constant Readiness."

A new addition to the 2013 lineup is an increase in duration of the September 20-22, 2013: STV "Sundowner" lasting 36 hours from start to finish. This will give competitors an opportunity to further test skills in a Survival Trial Arena that has a much broader scope of influence.
