Rogers Scores Fourth Consecutive Win at USPSA Area 8

HOUSTON, Texas - Team Comp-Tac's Randi Rogers continued her winning streak with a victory this past weekend in the Ladies Production division at the 2012 USPSA Area 8 Regional Championship held August 8-12, in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Finishing eighth overall out of 128 Production division shooters, Rogers posted a record finish taking the Ladies title with a final score of 1015.6570 points and finishing in the top 20 on 10 of 12 stages. This is the fourth year in a row that Rogers has won a Ladies division title at the USPSA Area 8 match, with Ladies Production wins in 2009 and 2010, and a Ladies Limited win in 2011.

"Area 8 was a surprisingly challenging match with lots of movement and specific set-ups incorporated into the stage designs. I competed with Comp-Tac's newest holster, The International, and despite having only a week's practice I was extremely pleased with my performance and the results," said Rogers.

In addition to being represented in Area 8 competition by its shooting team, Comp-Tac Victory Gear also supported the match as a Gold sponsor. As one of the most popular holster brands used by today's competitive shooters, Comp-Tac is committed to growing the shooting sports and has been extremely active in sponsoring shooting competitions is a variety of shooting disciplines.

While Rogers and her teammate Gordon Carrel competed at the USPSA Area 8, Comp-Tac's owner and President, Gregg Garrett, was shooting the IDPA Africa Championships in Prestoria, South Africa. Garrett added to the list of Comp-Tac's 2012 victories by claiming the Enhanced Service Pistol Master Class and High Senior titles.

Next up for Team Comp-Tac, Rogers will compete in the AR15.com/Rockcastle Pro-Am 3-Gun Championship taking place August 24-26, 2012.
