Commerce Department's Bureau of Industry Security Looking to Add Firearms Savvy Hire

The US Dept. of Commerce - Bureau of Industry Security (BIS) is seeking to hire an experienced person knowledgeable about firearms to part of their growing Firearms Team.

BIS currently licenses the export of shotguns and shot shells. However, when the Export Control Reforms (ECRs) occur and guns (non-automatic) and ammunition move over to the Commerce Control List (CCL) from the US Munitions List (USML) where they are licensed now by the US Dept of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), the BIS will be responsible for the export licensing of virtually all firearms and ammunition products, as well as other related products.
