September, 2012's - Survival Trial gave competitors the opportunity to race for NotAlone helping Veterans and their families work against Post Traumatic Stress. For the first time in Survival Trials short history competitors could have Individual Sponsors support them throughout their training leading up to the STII and during their journey through the Arena. Competitors team goal was $2000 and many came very close to reaching this contribution level, while not mandatory it became a most successful optional to Survival Trial II, many teams took the initiative to support NotAlone.

Companies also had the opportunity to sponsor a team by becoming a Corporate Sponsor. They pledged to pay a percentage of a team's overall Individual Sponsorship, depending on how the team placed in the Survival Trial. Leading the way was Professional Marksmen Inc., event organizers sponsored Team C.A.M.B. (Come At Me Bro) who had the highest Individual Sponsorship of $2054. Team C.A.M.B. consisted of David Osnowitz and Jared Bierbaum, both of Bloomington, IL, who's journey through the Survival Trial placed them Sixth overall with a total of 1140 points and the team crossing the finish line in 22 hours, 27 minutes. Professional Marksmen Inc. matched 50% of Team C.A.M.B.'s Individual Sponsorship donations, for an overall contribution to NotAlone of $1027.
