NRA's Whittington Center Selected as Official Host of 2013's Survival Trial I, II, and III

This past year NRA Whittington Center hosted both Survival Trial I and II. With outstanding participation by professionally organized Teams competing for their share of Survival Trial glory. We are pleased that Jon Weiler, Creator of the Survival Trial concept has once again selected Whittington Center as the event site for all three 2013's Survival Trial competitions.

This 24 hour endurance expedition challenges two person teams to successfully navigate the rugged 33,330 acres which comprises the Whittington's backcountry. With elevation ranging from 6,600 feet to 8,000 feet teams must not only combat the terrain but altitude as well. Each team is required to successfully complete land navigation, mental challenges, mini games and physical and shooting scenarios. Each team member carries a 9mm semi-auto pistol, a .223 semi-auto rifle and between the two members one .308 rifle must also be carried.

Registration is now open for 2013 Survival Trials at www.survivaltrial.com.
