While Orion is primarily known for managing competitions, Orion at Home allows individual athletes to train with Orion from a home range.

Orion at Home's affordability and ease of use makes it possible for almost any aspiring athlete to train on an electronic scoring system. The starter bundle is just $298, which includes the software, targets, and a Canon P-208 scanner.

Orion at Home is nearly identical to Orion's club version. It provides the same scoring standard, ease of use, and coaching tools to which Orion users have grown accustomed. The software even allows users to test their skills in competition by participating in Orion's Monthly Virtual Matches. Since it is designed for individuals, Orion at Home allows four competitors to compete individually in a match. Users may participate in Virtual Matches, but they cannot create their own. Orion at Home provides all other features of the club version, such as decimal and integer scoring options and Shot-Group Analysis tools, so users really can train with the same scoring standard technology used in competitions.

Dr. Erik Anderson, the inventor of Orion at Home, understands the importance of practicing at home in the shooting sports.
