Outdoor Channel Updates "The Gunfather" Debut Time

MEDIA ALERT

"THE GUNFATHER" TO DEBUT ON OUTDOOR CHANNEL IN OCTOBER

WHO: Outdoor Channel is unveiling an all-new, character-driven TV series as part of its fall TV programming lineup. The half-hour reality show, titled "The Gunfather," focuses on a different kind of suspenseful hunt: the hunt for prospective firearms buyers.

WHAT: "The Gunfather" stars native New Yorker turned Hamilton, Montana transplant Louie Tuminaro, the owner of The Custom Shop - a family-run firearms sales and restoration business.

Tuminaro takes viewers on the road with him in search of unique pieces to sell at The Custom Shop. The cameras also follow Tuminaro in-shop where the restoration of antique and collectible firearms takes place. But the real drama unfolds when clients travel to the shop for face time with Tuminaro and their desired firearm in the hopes of getting a glimpse at the rare gem and bargaining an even rarer price. But it's hard to outmaneuver Tuminaro. Watch how he artfully closes the deal, makes a profit and adds another satisfied customer to his rolodex - even after intense, pressure-filled deliberation that sometimes goes down to the wire.

Moreover, "The Gunfather" plotline fuses big family personalities - his wife Theresa and father Joe, affectionately known as "Pops," along with children Louie Jr., Nicole and Alex - into the riveting mix because, first and foremost, Tuminaro is a family man.

WHY: Tuminaro's dream was always to open the greatest gun shop in the west. So he sold everything and moved his family across the country to make his dream a reality. Tune in to see what happens along the way as Tuminaro tries to balance business, family and small town living, and of course, make the sale.

WHEN: "The Gunfather" premieres on Wednesday, October 1st at 8:00 p.m. ET on Outdoor Channel.

WHERE: Exclusively on Outdoor Channel! To find out how to get the network in your area, please vistwww.OutdoorChannel.com/channelfinder.
