Front Line offers holsters with a wide variety of security levels, from simple retaining snaps on leather holsters, to Level I and Level II security locking systems. Law enforcement personnel and civilians can choose their preferred degree of carry-security.

The PDS™ (PUSHn'DRAW™) System utilizes a heavy-duty catch that securely latches around the trigger guard when the weapon is holstered. This prevents the pistol from being grabbed by anyone other than the operator. There are two levels of retention available: Level I-Pushing down the pistol that automatically releases the latch so the pistol can then be drawn freely. Level II-Two actions are required: Pushing downward on the pistol that automatically releases the lever. Then the trigger finger slides under the latch to hold it open while the pistol is drawn.

The SR™ lock, available for Kydex® and KNG holsters, is Front Line's new Side Retention lock system that secures the pistol by the trigger guard as it's inserted into the holster. In order to draw, you push the side lever with your middle finger so you can draw your handgun in an upward motion.

The HDL™ Head Lock locking system is Front Line's latest innovation, addressing the need for a secured solution for duty and tactical uses. The HDL™ system, available on KNG holsters and on Kydex® holsters with a suede lining, offers retention level II. It's operated in a natural fluid motion of your thumb, while your hand is holding the gun butt. It provides optimal protection against unauthorized attempts to snatch your gun while still allowing a smooth and efficient draw.
