Team MGM Rocks US National Steel Championships

Springtime Florida weather enhanced a nice outing where MGM Targets sponsored shooters made high marks in last weekend's annual US National Steel Championship at Volusia County Gun & Hunt Club.

Team MGM shooter Max Michel placed 2nd to best all but one of 200 plus shooters followed by MGM teammate BJ Norris in 3rd place in centerfire.
Michel, a former US Army Staff Sargent is a repeat champion of USPSA and IPSC titles and US Army marksmanship unit top recruit. Norris also carries an impressive resume including 2010 Steel Challenge Production World Champion, 2011 Steel Challenge World Champion and 2014 as well as champion 3 gun shooter.

Over 200 centerfire and more than 100 rimfire competitors traveled from across the US to in New Smyrna Beach, FL, for the annual event which featured the eight well known stages with names such as Showdown, Smoke & Hope and Outer Limits, among others.
Beginning each Spring, Steel Challenge events are held across the America involving prescribed standard courses of fire where shooters all compete for the best time which are all collected in a massive database. Participants include men, women, men, ladies and junior shooters and top strive to compete in the annual World Speed Shooting Championships.
