Hornady® Wins three Telly Awards for GMX® 2014 Commercial

Grand Island, NE – Hornady® Manufacturing received three prestigious Telly Awards for its 30-second GMX® 2014 TV commercial.


The Hornady® GMX® 2014 TV commercial utilizes cutting-edge graphics and animation, and attention-grabbing audio to describe the GMX® as the ultimate downrange bullet that never separates, retains 95% of its weight, and is built "as solid as the reputation of its maker." The commercial airs on a variety of outdoor TV and cable channels.

Hornady® received a first place Silver Telly Award in the Use of Animation Category, a second place Bronze Telly Award in the Use of Graphics Category, and another second place Bronze Telly Award in the Sports/Sporting Goods Category. Master Track Productions of Lincoln, Nebr. produced the winning video, which can be viewed on YouTube.



The Telly Awards was founded in 1979, and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world. This year's competition drew nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries.
