Leupold® Mark AR® MOD 1 Awarded 2015 Golden Bullseye

by Editors of NRA's Shooting Illustrated

BEAVERTON, Ore. — The Leupold® Mark AR® MOD 1 has been awarded the 2015 Golden Bullseye Award from the editors of the NRA's Shooting Illustrated as the magazine's Optic of the Year.

A "symbol of excellence and innovation in firearms, accessories and related equipment," the Golden Bullseye is voted on by the editors of the National Rifle Association publication.

"On behalf of our 650 workers based in Beaverton, Oregon, we are very proud to have received this prestigious award from our friends and partners at the NRA," said Pat Mundy, director of brand communications at Leupold & Stevens, Inc. "It means a great deal to be recognized by Shooting Illustrated and their staff of firearms enthusiasts."

Designed with AR15, Modern Sporting and precision rifles in mind, the Mark AR MOD 1 offers elite performance at an affordable price. Tactical reticles, ballistically calibrated BDC dials and Green FireDot® illumination draw on Leupold's proud military heritage.

Leupold's P5 0.1 mil adjustment dials are partnered with mil-based reticles to deliver true mil/mil compatibility. Non-illuminated reticle options include Mil Dot, Duplex® or Fine Duplex. Leupold's green FireDot Tactical Milling Reticle® (TMR®) and green FireDot Special Purpose Reticle are available in the 3-9x40mm and 1.5-4x20mm models respectively.

Leupold's daylight visible FireDot system leads the eye naturally to the center aiming point and makes target acquisition quick, precise and simple. It has a one-button, low-profile design that offers a choice of six different reticle brightness settings. Proprietary Motion Sensor Technology (MST™) automatically deactivates illumination after five minutes of inactivity, but reactivates immediately when any movement is detected.

Like all Leupold products, the Mark AR MOD 1 is protected by the Leupold's Gold Ring™ Full Lifetime Guarantee, which covers the riflescope for the life of the optic. Leupold will repair or replace the riflescope regardless if it was purchased new or used.
