L.T. Wright's Jessica Elias Will Become First Woman to Compete in Bladesport's Nationals

We are so excited that our very own Creative Director, Jessica Elias, will be the first woman to ever compete in Nationals at the Bladesports Competition! Jessi came in 3rd qualifying for Nationals. The competition will be held on Saturday May 2nd, 2015 at the Ozark Folk Center located at 1032 Park Avenue Mountain View, AR 72560.

She will be using a competition chopper made here in the shop to suit her needs and wants. We used CPM M4 steel and competition grade scale material. It was custom fit to both angle and handle to the cutter. Check it out:

BladeSports International, Inc. is a Texas non-profit corporation formed to promote knife safety and provide workshops and cutting events for its members. Bladesports also works to inform and educate the public with regard to the safe use of a knife as a tool.

The Bladesports Competition is a contest in which participants use a cutting tool to complete various tasks in a quick and safe manner. Participants cut cans, tennis balls, 2×4's, hanging rope, and more. This competition takes strength, skill, and focus.
