This event will take place at the American Heritage Gun Range on April 25 from 9am to 4pm with awards at 5pm. The Shooters for Hooters event is held to raise awareness and promote research for breast cancer and those affected by its diagnosis. This great event not only allows people to make a difference, but also brings them together for a good cause. The year 2012 had been a difficult time for the Lange Family, just as it is with many families that are affected by cancer. Janet B. Lange was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, she was given just two- to- three months to live. After a strong fight her battle ended on February 20th, 2012. Family and friends showed great love and support for the remaining members of Janet's family during their time of need and helped prepare them for what was to come. With strength, love and support, Sydni, Janet's oldest daughter, wanted to raise breast cancer awareness for those affected by the disease. In the spring of 2012, Sydni founded Shooters for Hooters to help families affected by breast cancer.
