ZEISS Pro Shooter Cousins Wins Eighth European Pro Series Archery Title

NORTH CHESTERFIELD, VA – Carl Zeiss Sports Optics, the world's leading manufacturer in high performance sports optics, is pleased to announce, Pro Shooter and ZEISS sponsored Dave Cousins wins the European Pro Series Archery Event, held April 18-19 in For van Lier, Belgium. This was the first of the three event Pro Series Archery Events to be held in 2015. This first place finish marks Cousins' 8th career title in this event which is quite an accomplishment for this exclusive event in which shooters must meet strict qualifications and be invited to participate.

"The European Pro Archery Series is known for having probably the most physically and mentally challenging courses and conditions of any tournament in the world and Dave continues to dominate this event."

Cousins had a seven point lead after the first day and held on to a slim two point lead after day two. He saved his best performance for the final day as he finished nine points and 21 X's above second place. A total of 97 X's allowed Dave to clinch the Beiter Archery Accuracy Award, which goes to the competitor with highest X-count for the tournament.
