DRD Tactical's .338 Lapua Takedown Rifle Performs in Tests by U.S. Ally Nation

338 Lapua Magnum, Semi-Automatic, Quick Take Down

Dallas, GA - DRD Tactical is happy to announce that a US Ally country live fire tested the Kivaari™ 338 Lapua Semi-Automatic for two days at a range in the United States. The customer fired the rifle out to 1200 yards and it maintained 1-MOA accuracy using Lapua factory ammunition. Optic used on the rifle was Schmidt Bender PM-II with Horus H59 reticle along with Lothar Walther 1/10 twist 24" barrel, and Atlas bipod. Over 120 rounds were fired during the two day period and the rifle was not cleaned during the two days of live fire testing.

The customer was pleased with the performance, so they have ordered a small number of rifles for export. These rifles will be built with the specs/finish of their choice. They will be exported after the US State Dept. export permit approval process for further evaluation in-country.

Rifle weighs only 13.6 lbs empty because it operates on DI gas system. The ability to change barrels in the field and the most covert long range semi-automatic rifle is what KIVAARI™ offers to US Military / Ally countries.

DRD Tactical specializes in design and manufacturing of patented Take Down Rifles in 7.62 Nato, 338 Lapua Magnum, 5.56 Nato and 300AAC, in our modern CNC manufacturing facility.
