Public invited to the 2015 Fort Benning Multi-gun Challenge

FORT BENNING, Ga.—The U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit's Action Shooting Team will conduct the 2015 Fort Benning Multi-gun Challenge Dec. 3-6 at Krilling Range.

Active duty Soldiers, women and juniors have priority, but the Multi-gun Challenge is open to the public.

This event is an opportunity to test your abilities firing rifles, pistols and shotguns at stationary targets ranging from 3 to 400 meters, and moving and flying targets. Shooters will also have a chance to fire select military weapons throughout various courses of fire.

The match will begin at 7:30 a.m. each day, and an awards ceremony at Krilling Range will begin at 2 p.m. on Dec. 6.

Registration opens at Krilling Range Dec. 3 at 4 p.m., late registration opens Dec. 4 at 6:30 a.m.
