GLOCK is Bronze Sponsor of 3rd Annual NSSF/HAVA Golf Classic

NEWTOWN, Conn.-The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms industry, is pleased to announce that Glock has agreed to sponsor the 3rd Annual NSSF/HAVA Golf Classic at the Bronze level. A maker of premium, striker-fired handguns, Glock's American headquarters are located in Smyrna, Georgia.

"We are very pleased to have Glock support those injured U.S. soldiers returning home and transitioning back to civilian life," said Chris Dolnack, NSSF Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. "This sponsorship will help ensure our third annual golf tournament will enjoy the success of our previous outings, thereby continuing to provide much-needed funding for our recovering soldiers."

"GLOCK always supports those who go in harm's way serving our country and defending our nation's way of life," said Josh Dorsey, Vice President at GLOCK, Inc. "Organizations like HAVA provide a tremendous service to our veterans, and we are honored to be able to join them in supporting our troops."

The NSSF/HAVA Golf Classic, now in its third year, raises money to support disabled veterans with their healing process through guided hunts, target shooting events and other outdoor sports activities. HAVA is Honored American Veterans Afield, a 501(c)(3) organization formed by companies in the shooting and outdoor industry. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available for this important event, and interested industry members are encouraged to register and contribute to this worthy cause.
