American Smallbore Shooting Association National Matches

The American Smallbore Shooting Association National Matches will begin on July 21st at the Blue Trail Range in Wallingford Connecticut.
The matches will consist of the traditional conventional smallbore 3 Position matches conducted over 3 days from July 21st through July 23rd.
40 shots from the prone, kneeling, and standing position with iron sights at 50 yards will be fired on July 21st. The course of fire will be repeated on July 22nd except any sights are permitted. July 23rd will be the team matches, BBQ dinner and awards ceremony.

On Monday July 24th the 5 day prone phase will begin. The traditional Critchfield 6400 course of fire will be used. 320 shots for record in the prone position at 50 yards, 50 meters and 100 yards with iron sights over a 2 day period. Day 3 will be the team matches, and day 4 and 5 will be the a repeat of the 320 shots for record but any sights are permitted.

Competitors meetings will be conducted on July 21st and July 24th. Prizes are valued at over $3000 from our various sponsors, including Champions Choice, DiOrio manufacturing Turbo Actions, Lapua Ammunition, and Blue Trail Range.

Entries are still being taken but mail in entries are closed. Entries will be accepted at the range prior to the first day of each championship.
