The shooting range at http://www.michigandnr.com/parksandtrails/Details.aspx?type=SPRK&id=433">Algonac State Park in St. Clair County recently reopened after a construction project aimed at improving the visitor experience at the range.

Range improvements include accessible parking, new accessible shooting stations – a six-station shotgun shooting structure and a four-station handgun lane – and concrete target-retrieval paths.

These improvements were made possible, in part, through a federal grant from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Pittman-Robertson funding).

Algonac State Park is located at 8732 River Road in Marine City, Michigan.
