Team Volquartsen's Eusebio Captures Open Title

CARROLL, IOWA –– More than 350 competition shooters, ranging in age from 7 to 70, showed up for the NSSF's 2017 Rimfire Challenge World Championship. The event took place at Cavern Cove Competition Range in Woodville, Alabama, on Oct. 14 and 15.

Competitors shot 14 stages – 7 set for .22-caliber rifle and 7 set for .22-caliber handgun. Shooters also chose among 5 side matches that offered additional prizes.

Team Volquartsen's KC Eusebio had an incredible weekend in his first "rimfire only competition." He finished 1st in open class.

Asked about his weekend, KC had this to say "It took me a while to finally get out to a rimfire only competition and I had a great time. I've always had a USPSA or Steel Challenge match on the same dates, and the stars finally aligned to allow me to compete in such a great event. As a first-time competitor in a different field of shooters, I felt at home. I have both my Volquartsen Scorpion and Ultralite 22 LR to thank for my performance. I was able to really put my equipment to the test and I truly can see a difference in quality, craftsmanship, and dedication that Volquartsen puts into their product."

KC's next competition will be at the USPSA Georgia State Championships
