SAR Partners with Whitetails Unlimited

Imperial, MO – The Student Air Rifle Program (SAR) is excited to partner with Whitetails Unlimited to provide grants to new SAR schools.

"Partnering with SAR and fulfilling their mission to facilitate a safe and fun introduction to the lifetime sport of target shooting to students in grades 4 through 12 is a great fit for our organization," noted Russ Austad, Program Services Director of Whitetails Unlimited. "We are excited to help this program expand nationally."

Five, $1,000 grants will be administered through SAR as a result of Whitetails Unlimited support. The grant money will offset the cost of an entire SAR equipment kit by approximately 30%. Interested schools can learn how to get SAR started by visitin www.studentairrifleprogram.org.
