NCSSAA Announces Executive Director of Range Management and Development

Southlake, TX: Today, the National Collegiate Shooting Sports Athletic Association (NCSSAA), a newly formed program focused on the growth and protection of the long-standing history of competitive shooting sports, is pleased to announce that Lauren Dunn has been hired as the Executive Director of Range Management and Development.

Lauren is joining NCSSAA to help with range contracting for collegiate events and regional combine events. Lauren will also be on-hand to assist college teams with range development, as a common challenge is the number of ranges available and accessible to college teams. If a team needs help creating more opportunities for shooting in each discipline, Lauren will be able to help college teams by identifying funding opportunities through private sourcing, grants, industry help. Additionally, Lauren will be available to help with range design as needed.

Lauren has been involved in shooting sports her whole life – from growing up on her grandparents’ gun club in Southern Illinois, to shooting for and graduating from Lindenwood University with a degree in Business Administration. After graduation, Lauren took over management of her grandparents’ range for five years before becoming the Executive Director of the World Shooting and Recreational Complex in Sparta, Illinois.

After three years with the World Shooting and Recreational Complex, Lauren is excited to join NCSSAA and said, “After hearing what Robbi had planned for the NCSSAA, I immediately knew I wanted to be part of helping such a great program grow.” The NCSSAA staff is looking forward to welcoming Lauren to the team on October 17, 2022.
