Delray Beach, Fla. –– Century Arms, North America’s premier AK manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Chip Hunnicutt as their new Director of Marketing. In his new position, Hunnicutt will drive the complete marketing process for Century Arms and it’s family of brands (Canik USA, Red Army Standard, and Century’s Surplus division).
Hunnicutt joins Century Arms from Arcus Hunting, where he led marketing efforts for the outdoor brands Tink’s, Dead Down Wind, Obsession Bows, Trophy Taker, Ramcat Broadheads and Rack One. Prior to Arcus, he was with Crosman Corporation and was instrumental in expanding the company’s traditionally youth-oriented market to include the adult hunting market.
“With Century’s diverse product line, it is critical to the company to have a strong, vision-driven leader heading our marketing division and we believe Chip will fill that roll with aplomb,” said William Sucher, Century’s Vice President of Business Development. “We have a number of strategic objectives that we plan to roll out over the next few years and having someone like Chip to drive the marketing initiatives for these will be a key to our success.” Chip has a proven track record of success in marketing strategy, brand positioning and communications and is an avid shooter and outdoorsman. He is most proud of his twin 7-year old children, Whip and Amelia. He will be relocating to Florida with his loyal basset hound, Dixie.
