USA Archery Welcomes George Ryals IV as Paralympic Head Coach

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - George Ryals IV joins USA Archery as the new Paralympic Head Coach with over 25 years of experience in teaching and coaching archery, extensive experience in archery product design and exceptional skills in team building. A USA Archery Level 4-NTS Coach, Ryals was also named USA Archery's and the US Olympic Committee's Developmental Coach of the Year in 2014.

Coach Ryals has had much personal success as an archer and a coach on the national and international stage and recently worked with the USA Archery Para team as a coach at the 2018 Para Pan American Championships.

Ryals joins the USA Archery Para program at a critical time as we gear up for success at the 2019 World Archery Para Championships and the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. "We are fortunate to have great talent in our current team and I look forward to working with the athletes to build on their successes. We will grow awareness, innovate technology and work together to adapt, overcome and create a lasting dynasty."
