Applied Ballistics Shooter Takes a 1st Place

Howard City, MI – Applied Ballistics Lab Tech Francis Colon finished 1st at the Kahles North American PRS Challenge over the Memorial Day weekend held at K&M Precision Rifle Training Center. With over 250 shooters in attendance, the competition was tough. Francis is a decorated shooter in the Precision Rifle Series and had this to say after his win,” My gear has performed flawlessly over the course of the season. Between the MDT ACC Elite, the Impact Precision 737r Action, and the Leupold Mark5 HD, it feels effortless to send rounds on target. One commonly overlooked piece of equipment is our ballistics solver; MAJOR CREDIT IS DUE TO THE Applied Ballistics Custom Drag Models (CDM’s) that I run in matches. They provide perfect data in all conditions, keeping me on target with the most accuracy in any conditions.”

Francis shoots a 6 Dasher on an MDT ACC Elite chassis with an Impact Precision 737r action, Bartlein barrel. Ammo components include Berger 109 LRHT bullets, Vihtavouri N150 powder with Alpha Munition cases.
