1791 GUNLEATHER was honored to be a finalist for the 2020 Best New Accessory of the Year, Caliber Award, by the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW). Our Ultra Custom Holster with Memory-Lok Technology was one of only three products nominated, and we shared the category with the Mantis Blackbeard and Lyman Products Borecam Wireless Borescope.

NASGW partners with Professional Outdoor Media Association (POMA) to choose the top products in six categories: Best New Accessory, Best New Optic, Best New Ammunition, Best New Handgun, Best New Rifle and Best New Shotgun. 18 industry judges make up the independent panel that select the winners in each category. They then select a Best Overall New Product.

In this 4th annual event over 150 submissions were narrowed down by the panel through consideration of product features such as uniqueness, market need, value, ingenuity and presentation. Through this rigorous process the products were narrowed down to the top three in each category and the winner in each category along with the overall winner.
