Williamsburg, KY – Scholastic 3-D Archery has recently added new board member, Justin Gorman, Director of Sales, for Kinsey’s INC. Gorman will provide S3DA input or guidance on sales, marketing and manufacturing.

Justin Gorman has had a love for archery his entire life. Gorman states, “Being one of the owners of Kinsey’s INC., shooting and hunting is part of my family heritage. I began seriously hunting in my high school years as I became more proficient in the sport. Working at Kinsey’s and in the industry has been a perfect combination between blending my hobbies and passions with my work life. I am extremely proud to be working with the S3DA program and continuing to pass on the heritage of our sport. The most important part of our industry right now, is getting the youth excited about archery. S3DA is on track to do just that.”

Justin Gorman graduated college in 2013 with a degree in Finance from the University of Colorado. Upon graduation, Gorman started full-time at Kinsey’s INC., learning all aspects of the business. Intentionally, he moved through different departments in order to gain a well-rounded background in the business. His experience working in multiple facets of Kinsey’s business has allowed him to see different sides of the industry and gain an understanding of all the interconnected pieces.

Started in December 2012 by the Scholastic Archery Association, S3DA has grown exponentially as a next step program to follow introductory programs offered as part of 4-H or the National Archery in the Schools Program. S3DA addresses the need for a program to bridge beginning target archery experience and more advanced activities such as 3-D shooting and bowhunting. The program currently operates across the United States with hundreds of certified coaches serving

thousands of young archers, grades 3–12.
