GUNS May cover gun, the .45-70 Side Gate Lever Action from Henry Repeating Arms, is packed with big-bore power and carbine handling, and offers two ways to load — fast and faster.

Evoking memories of John Wayne in “Big Jake,” Editor Brent T. Wheat tested the latest iteration inspired by Henry’s classic lever-action model.
