HOUSTON, TEXAS – Primary Arms is proud to announce that the role of Corporate Vice President will be filled by Ozge Cumberland. Ozge is a long-standing member of the Primary Arms organization, previously working as the Senior Director of Business Development.
“It is with great pleasure that I am announcing the promotion of Ozge Cumberland to Vice President,” said Marshall Lerner, CEO of Primary Arms. “This promotion reflects the growing value and influence Ozge has not just within our company but also within our industry.”
Ozge started with Primary Arms in 2013 as the 14th employee, acting as the Customer Service Supervisor. As the company grew, Ozge was able to grow her experiences by working throughout the company as a Traffic Controller, Merchandising Coordinator, Buyer, and Merchandising Director. Most recently, Ozge served as the Senior Director of Business Development, exploring new areas for Primary Arms to expand. In this role, Ozge launched a new business unit for government sales for law enforcement, federal agencies, and military buyers. In addition, Ozge also developed and launched Expo Arms in 2017.
Following the announcement, Ozge responded: “It's with great humility, excitement and honor that I am set out to achieve greater heights and deeper roots in my new role of Vice President of Primary Arms. I have always believed, that I can and will make a difference both internally and externally for our company in whatever role or capacity I am suited for.”
As Vice President, Ozge will continue to oversee the growth of the business, finding new ways to fill gaps in the shooting sports industry. Informed by a wide range of experience, Ozge’s perspective will contribute throughout Primary Arms’ operations.
