SASP and SCTP Provide Resources for Member Teams While Social Distancing

While many shooting sports athletes find themselves in a period of downtime, the SCTP and SASP turn to social media to help inspire and keep their athletes focused and ready to compete once restrictions are lifted. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the youth shooting programs are sharing resources that athletes can use to keep their skills sharp. Topics include reinforcing fundamentals, enhancing mental training, and even turning towards technology to enhance dry-fire training. Coaches of both programs will receive weekly resource recap emails containing additional exclusive content curated to help keep their team members engaged at home while social distancing.

In a small gesture of solidarity, the SCTP and SASP have temporarily edited their logos to encourage the practice of social distancing guidelines and encourage a continued sense of community. To learn more about the SCTP's and SASP's resources for young athletes during this time of social distancing, please refer to the program's respective Facebook pages.
