WEST BEND, WI - The U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), the industry-leading organization in firearms training and education, released the 2021 Texas Permitless Carry Guide to encourage Texas gun owners to make safety and training a priority with the inception of H.B. 1927.

On June 16, 2021, Governor Abbott signed H.B.1927 (the Firearm Carry Act of 2021) which allows individuals 21 years of age or older in Texas to open carry or concealed carry a firearm in public without a special permit or license. The bill went into effect today, making Texas the 21st state to permit constitutional carry.
