The Lexington WMA Shooting Range is temporarily closed for construction beginning Oct. 23 and extending into the spring of 2026.
Improvements aim to enhance safety and expand users' overall experience of the range. Some of the major improvements and additions include renovating both 100-yard rifle ranges; repairing berms, backstops, drainage, sidewalks, target frames, and one covered shooting area; improving ADA access and parking; adding a brand-new shotgun range with an abbreviated trap pad; and adding a new archery tower/range.
