Berger’s Kenneth Lin Wins at the Arizona Mid-Range F-Class Championship

Mesa, AZ – Berger’s Marketing Manager, Kenneth Lin, placed 2nd in F-Class Target Rifle (F/TR) at the 2024 Arizona State Mid-Range Championship with a grand aggregate of 1161-28X.

The Arizona State Mid-Range Championship was hosted by the Desert Sharpshooters on April 6-7th at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix, AZ.

Lin, who has previously competed in the Precision Rifle Series, was awarded a Marksman classification from the NRA in just his second F-Class event. Competing with Berger 30 caliber 200.20X Hybrid Target bullets, Lapua 308 Winchester Palma cases, and Vihtavuori N150 powder, Lin was able to overcome the challenging wind conditions and place 1st on the second day of competition giving him the points need to finish in 2nd place overall.

“There is nothing better than the feeling of learning and improving in competitive shooting. Knowing that I’m using the absolute best components allowed me to focus on shooting fundamentals and following the guidance of the veteran shooters,” commented Lin.

F-Class Target Rifle (F-TR) category has strict requirements of a “ready-to-go” rifle weighing no more than 18-lbs. Chambers are required to be unmodified and use a standard .308/7.62 NATO or .223/5.56 NATO.
