The Krieghoff Masters held at the spectacular Forest City Gun Club, outside of Savannah is one of the Major Skeet events of the year drawing shooters from across the country. Sponsored by Krieghoff International, duPont/Krieghoff and White Flyer this year saw beautiful spring coastal Georgia weather and heavy competition for perfection in the sport of perfect 100s.

The Krieghoff sales staff and Gunsmiths were onsite with their top dealer duPont/Krieghoff out of Vera Beach FL for service, sales and personal demonstrations at the freshly finished 5-Stand Pavillion. Shooters were able to service their K-80s and trusty K-32s while many others came to try a K-80 for the first time.

Krieghoff shooters from both sponsored teams captured the HOA Podium this year. Jim Lindell shooting a K-80, sponsored by duPONT/KRIEGHOFF joined forces with Sheaffer Stanfill, Runner Up and Houston Deshotels in 3rd to make the event a 1-2-3 win for K-80s.

Other team shooters shot well with veteran Krieghoff Sponsored Shooter Mark Vaillancourt winning the 20Ga Championship and finishing Doubles in 2nd Place.

Sheaffer Stanfill paired his 2nd HOA with 2nd in 28Ga and, team member Houston Deshotels matched his 3rd place in HOA with a 3rd in 12Ga.

In the Ladies class Lindsay Plesko medaled with Lady Champion in 28Ga and Lady 3rd in the 410, while Lauren Burge won the Lady 3rd place podium finish in 20Ga.

New team member Les Lala finished on the podium with 3rd in 28Ga, and veteran shooter Sam Armstrong had Master Vet medals across the board. Krieghoff Skeet Team Lead Alessandro Vitale won several Class awards and did well against the other 22 shooters who broke 100 in 12Ga. He stayed alive in a long shoot-off to win 5th, (AAA2) spot.
