South Carolina S3DA Hosts 2nd Indoor Regional

Williamsburg, KY – Eastern Sales Company (Archery Shop) in Conway, South Carolina, recently hosted the 2nd SC S3DA Indoor Regional Tournament of the 2020 season. Approximately twenty-four archers from five clubs and one team met to compete and there were NEW archers in every age division. For some of the archers, it was there very first archery tournament.

South Carolina Regional Coordinator, Jason Carroll stated, “This Indoor Regional was better than we could have asked for, John Winchester from Emmanuel Baptist College traveled over 5 hours to personally award scholarships. The archers performed great and most importantly made new friendships and had fun.”

“Expanding to Myrtle Beach has opened up an ocean of interest and commitment to growing S3DA across South Carolina. We have had four new clubs come on board since we made the announcement that Eastern Sales Company would host this tournament. Our future is looking bright and I am excited to be a part of the wave of youth archery flowing across our state,” stated SC State Coordinator, Sheila Tadlock.

“I had a great time at my first S3DA tournament. There was always someone to ask when I needed help. The shooting conditions were nice, and I had a lot of fun,” stated Palmetto Center Seekers Club archer Afton Armstrong.

Scholarship certificates to several collegiate archery programs were handed out to deserving podium finishers in the High School Division. South Carolina S3DA now looks forward to their Indoor State Championship to be held on March 7th, 2020.
