SIG SAUER to Host Third Annual SIG Relentless Warrior Championship for Military Academy Cadets in 2020
NEWINGTON, N.H. – SIG SAUER, Inc. is pleased to announce the sponsorship of the Third Annual SIG Relentless Warrior Championship set for Saturday, March 28, 2020 at the SIG SAUER Academy (SSA) in Epping, New Hampshire.
The SIG Relentless Warrior Championship is the premier competitive shooting championship for nearly 100 of America’s future military leaders. Cadets from the United State Military Academy at West Point will return to defend their 2019 title, along with the United States Air Force Academy, United States Naval Academy, United States Coast Guard Academy, Virginia Military Institute (VMI), Texas A&M, and the Merchant Marine Academy to compete against one another through a high-level skills course to be named the “Ultimate Warrior.”
Chad Barber, Match Director, and Firearms Logistic Manager, SIG SAUER Academy, began, “for the 2020 SIG Relentless Warrior Championship we are planning an intense day of competition and camaraderie for the participating cadets. We are developing a course of fire to include mission stages that will test the training, marksmanship, and leadership skills of these future military leaders.”
For the 2020 SIG SAUER Relentless Warrior Championship, Team SIG members, and professional competitive shooters, Max Michel, Lena Miculek, and Daniel Horner will serve as honorary match safety officers. Team SIG members will also provide shooting clinics and demonstrations for the match participants.
